The problem

Most shared spaces run on a pile of tools that don't talk to each other: a payment processor here, a Google Calendar there, a spreadsheet of who's certified on what, a keypad code that's been the same since 2019. Every lapsed member, every new class, every equipment sign-off means someone updating multiple systems by hand — and hoping they match.

How it works

Your members drive.

Memberships & Access

Set up plans, tiers, and add-ons. Members join with a card and are charged automatically. When a payment fails or a member cancels, their access changes with it — no chasing, no "did anyone turn off their key?"

A member's record in Havens: their details and search results, note history, a mobile QR pass, their subscription tier, upcoming events, a notes field, and links to member permissions.

Classes & Credentials

Run orientations, classes, and certifications. When a member completes one, Havens records the credential — and that credential can be what unlocks the door to Studio A.

Class series in Havens: The Recording Workshop on Saturdays and Modern Recording 101 on Thursdays, each with dates, paid seats, a waitlist, an embed code, and a payment link.

Rooms & Reservations

Members can book rooms, bays, classes, and studios themselves or through you — you decide. Each asset or room gets its own calendar, and reservations sync straight to Google Calendar. You can keep using the tools you already look at every day.

Payments & Growth

Payouts land in your own account through Stripe. Havens handles the engine under the hood. You focus on what you started out to do in the first place: create something incredible.

Access control

A door that checks the same list you do.

Havens integrates with "smart door" controllers — members unlock it with credentials managed by the system. Already have a door controller? You can keep using yours, we may be able to integrate it.

How a Havens door decides A member badges in. The controller checks that their membership is current, then that they hold the credential for this door, then unlocks for five seconds and relocks. Do I need to buy your hardware to use Havens?

No. Memberships, classes, scheduling, and assets work on their own. Add door controllers whenever you're ready — one door or twenty.

Can I keep using Google Calendar?

Yes. Room reservations sync to Google Calendar, one calendar per room, so your existing views and shared calendars keep working.

Where does the money go?

Directly to you, through Stripe. Havens never holds your members' payments.

We're a nonprofit run by volunteers. Does this work for us?

Unlimited admin accounts, roles for admin and staff, and nothing that assumes a paid front-desk.

How long does setup take?
